RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Justin Bogle has claimed his maiden premier class victory at Budds Creek’s 11th round of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, while Zach Osborne (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing) was crowned the 250MX champion.

Bogle lodged a 1-3 scorecard to take the overall, securing a thrilling win in the opening moto to commence the day. Marvin Musquin (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) was second overall with 2-1 results, as Monster Energy Kawasaki Factory Racing’s Eli Tomac was third.

Tomac was seventh after a poor start in race one, however after bouncing back for a race one win, he still controls the championship by 28 points.

The top five for the day was completed by Blake Baggett (Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM) and Team USA MXoN representative Cole Seely (Honda HRC).

In 250MX, Adam Cianciarulo (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) claimed his career-first victory in the class with 1-2 results, as Osborne walked away with the title following a victory in race two.

It was an impressive display from Cianciarulo, who has experienced a number of difficult seasons in previous years. Osborne was eighth in race one after being involved in a first turn pile-up, salvaging eighth.

Third overall was Shane McElrath (Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM), followed by Jeremy Martin (Geico Honda) and Aaron Plessinger (Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha) in fourth and fifth respectively.

The Pro Motocross championship now heads to Ironman Raceway next weekend for the final stop of the series.
