Musquin goes 1-1 again at Unadilla Pro Motocross round
Martin splashes to second overall of the season in 250 Class.
Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin has claimed his third-consecutive Lucas Oil Pro Motocross overall victory via a 1-1 result in rain-soaked conditions at Unadilla.
The 10th round of the season featured heavy rain and thunder storms that led to race officials shortening the second motos to 20 minutes plus one lap.
Musquin won the overall in another dominant performance, joined on the podium by Martin Davalos (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna), who went 8-2, and Cole Seely (Team Honda HRC) after he lodged a 3-6 scorecard.
The championship still sees Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Kawasaki) at the top despite scoring ninth overall on Saturday, 27 points ahead of Blake Baggett (Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM) and a further four in front of Musquin.
In the 250 Class GEICO Honda’s Jeremy Martin emerged victorious to claim his second win of the season, his 2-1 scorecard besting Joey Savatgy (Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki) and runaway points leader Zach Osborne (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna).
The 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will continue next weekend with the penultimate round of the season at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Maryland on 19 August.
