Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki press release:
Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki’s Kyle Peters will head to the eighth round of the Motul MX Nationals at Port Macquarie in New South Wales on Sunday, optimistic that he can achieve his first MX1 podium of the year.
After experiencing highs and lows at the seven previous rounds so far this season, Peters has been working hard to refine his program in preparation for this Sunday, and will be aiming to put his Suzuki RM-Z450 at the front of the talented MX1 field in both motos.
With a new circuit on the agenda for this weekend at Port Macquarie, Peters says he’s looking forward to entering the round on an even playing field, and that he’ll be leaving nothing on the track this Sunday.
“It will be nice to head to Port Macquarie this weekend with everyone racing on a new track. So far this season every weekend has been a brand new venue for me, but this round it’s the same for everyone,” Peters shared.
“I’ve had good speed at all seven rounds, but so far it hasn’t all come together, so this weekend I’ll be doing everything I can to get onto that podium where I belong.
“We made some progress at Shepparton so we’re heading in the right direction. We have three rounds left and I’m determined to finish this year with a win.”
The 2017 Motul MX Nationals will continue with round eight to be contested at Port Macquarie in New South Wales on Sunday, July 30. Visit www.mxnationals.com.au for further information on the series.
