American import eager to turn season around this weekend.
Following a lacklustre season thus far, Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki’s Kyle Peters is still maintaining a determined attitude to win races as this weekend’s seventh round of the Motul MX Nationals looms.
The American has fallen short of demonstrating his thrilling form at round one, with his best result of the season coming at Horsham’s fourth stop, where he raced to sixth overall.
The American import is eager to turn his year around, expressing a desire to close out the 10-round championship on a positive note.
“In terms of the championship, we can’t change what has happened,” Peteres explained. “So for me the goal moving forward is just to maximise points every weekend.
“Every time I get on the track I want to win, so I’m going to Shepparton with the same attitude – I am determined to finish this season on a high so I can’t wait to get after it on Sunday.”
Shepparton will host Sunday’s round of the MX Nationals, marking the final Victorian round on the calendar.
