Motul MX Nationals press release:
When the Motul MX Nationals arrives in Horsham this weekend it will be the tenth time that the series has visited the town in Western Victoria, and today Series Promoter Kevin Williams has given praise to the venue ahead of Round 4 on Sunday.
The Horsham Motorcycle Club has made significant improvements to their venue since the MX Nationals’ first visit, including 30 wash bays, air-conditioned facilities, and more, and this weekend is no different, with the club undertaking a number of upgrades in preparation for the fourth instalment of the championship.
Motul MX Nationals Series Promoter Kevin Williams today thanked the Club for its ‘forward thinking’ attitude and dedication to Australian Motocross Racing.
“When we arrived at Horsham yesterday morning we were once again greeted by a world class venue – the club has done a fantastic job preparing for Sunday,” Williams shared.
“Every year the Horsham Motorcycle club steps things up, invests in their venue, and ensures that every base is covered – it’s for that reason that despite being in a rural location that they are able to secure such high profile National and International events.
“The club is highly deserving of our fourth round as well as the 2017 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championships and of course the FIM Junior World Motocross Championships in 2018.
“On behalf of the Motul MX Nationals, I’d like to thank the club for their contribution to the series throughout our ten visits to the venue, and look forward to working together over the weekend to make Round 4 a huge success.”
The fourth round of the 2017 Motul MX Nationals will be held at Horsham on Sunday May 21. The club and Motul MX Nationals will also be hosting a beyondblue fundraising barbeque on Saturday May 20 from 4:30pm.
