KTM Enduro Racing Team signing dominates in Victoria.
It was a winning return to the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) for former champion Daniel Milner, in his national debut for the all-conquering KTM Enduro Racing Team at Rawson in Victoria over the weekend.
Milner won Saturday’s opening three-hour Cross Country round outright ahead of new teammate Lyndon Snodgrass and Lachlan Stanford (Husqvarna Enduro Racing) team, while Josh Green (Active8 Yamaha) and Wil Ruprecht (Active8 Yamaha).
It was Milner who took out the E2 division over Green and Stefan Granquist (Yamaha), as Ruprecht won E1 ahead of defending champion Jack Simpson (KTM) and Scott Keegan (Yamaha), and Snodgrass claimed E3 from Stanford and Tom Mason (KTM).
Come Sunday it was once again Milner who reigned, taking the outright honours and joined on the podium by Green and Stanford. Milner, Green and Riley Graham (Yamaha) made the E2 rostrum, as Ruprecht, Simpson and Keegan again led E1 and Stanford, Snodgrass and Mason topped E3.
The 2017 AORC series will now travel north to Miva in Queensland for rounds five and six on 13-14 May.
