Planned San Marino round postponed until following year.
Updates to the 2017 FIM Motocross World Championship will see the MXGP of San Marino postponed to 2018 after Youthstream and the Government of San Marino came to a mutual agreement.
Following the update, the MXGP round of Italy which was scheduled to take place on 15-16 April, and the MXGP round of Trentino which was set to take place on 24-25 June, have officially swapped places on the calendar.
The MXGP of Italy will now take place at Maggiora in June, while the MXGP of Trentino will mark the first European stop of the 2017 series. The postponement of the San Marino grand prix will see the MXGP series reduced to 19 rounds from the originally scheduled 20 rounds.
