Former Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship premier class winner, Josh Hill, made history at the 2016 Red Bull Straight Rhythm event as the first rider to enter a professional race aboard an electric motorcycle, the Alta Motors Redshift MX. Hill not only entered the event, he made his way through to the semi-finals before being defeated by Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM’s Mitchell Oldenberg.
