Team HRC are satisfied with their all-new 2017 Honda CRF450RW after a promising debut at the MXGP of the Americas, held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway last weekend.

Evgeny Bobryshev piloted the new bike to sixth overall in it’s first public outing, with the Russian recording 11-4 results.

“I really enjoyed my day today – the track was great and riding the new 2017 CRF was fantastic,” Bobryshev explained. “In the first race I needed to understand the bike in a race condition so it took us a little time to get really used to it, but the second race was way better.”

“I really feel comfortable on the bike and I really enjoy riding it – I know that there are many more positive results coming,” he added.

Team manager, Roger Harvey, spoke of the encouraging results that Bobryshev displayed on the new motorcycle, and stated his excitement to further develop the motorcycle.

“We’re very heartened by Bobby’s debut of the new 2017 bike too, as after taking the first race to adjust and bed himself into the new machine, race two saw Bobby right back to form again and running strongly at the front, fighting for the podium,” Harvey stated.

“We’re very excited to continue building on this ahead of its full MXGP campaign next season,” he added.

Bobryshev will contest the final round of the FIM World Motocross Championship aboard the 2017 CRF450RW at this weekend’s USGP at Glen Helen Raceway, where he will continue to become acquainted with the new bike.
