RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ken Roczen continued his hot start to the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season at Thunder Valley MX Park.

Roczen swept both 450 Class motos for the second time this year en route to his second victory of the season, making it five moto wins from six starts.

With Roczen doing the double for the overall, runner-up on Saturday was defending champion Ryan Dungey (Red Bull KTM) with a 2-4 scorecard and Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Kawasaki) third via 5-2 finishes.

Team Honda teammates Cole Seely and Trey Canard both scored moto podium finishes on their way to fourth and fifth places overall this weekend.

In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy raced to his second win to reclaim control of the points lead.

Savatgy claimed the round victory with consistent 2-1 finishes, edging out number one plate holder Jeremy Martin’s (Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha) 1-3 results, as his brother/teammate Alex Martin filled the podium with 8-2.

Australia’s Jackson Richardson (XPR Motorsports Honda) was 25th for the round via 20-37 results, while Luke Clout (MAD Racing/Dirt Candy/Suzuki) showed further signs of improvement, going 22-21 for 26th overall.

The 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will observe its first break of the 2016 season next weekend before returning to action on Saturday, 18 June, for the Red Bull High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania.
