Support class dates confirmed ahead of new series.
Class structures have been announced ahead of the 2016 MX Nationals series following the release of an updated calendar featuring multiple revisions throughout the year.
The premier MX1 class will feature at all 10 rounds of the championship, as will the MX2 category. Meanwhile MXD will feature at all rounds except for round five when the series makes a return to the sands of Wanneroo in Western Australia.
Support classes for the 2016 series include the Amateur Cup, the 85cc Cup, C-Grade Lites, Vets, Rising Star Rookies and the Australian Women’s MX Championship.
We’ll see the Amateur Cup at the Broadford, Nowra and Toowoomba rounds and the 85cc Cup featured at the opening Horsham round, Murray Bridge and the season finale in Coolum.
C-Grade Lites will take to the track for one round only at Wanneroo, as will the Vets category, making their one and only appearance at the picturesque Conondale circuit.
Rising Star Rookies will make an appearance at three rounds for 2016, kicking off at round two at Appin, before heading to both the Shepparton and Coolum rounds to finish off the year.
The 2016 MX Nationals series is set to commence on 3 April at Horsham in Victoria, before spanning a full calendar of 10 rounds this upcoming season.
