Over 40,000 views tune into Jimboomba X Stadium action.
The NRGTV online Livestream coverage of last weekend’s second round of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship presented by Penrite Oil at Jimboomba, Queensland, is being hailed a success after audience statistics detailed the broadcast’s extensive national and international reach.
The Jimboomba X Stadium event’s Livestream coverage attracted 43,319 total views on 26,615 unique devices, with viewers in 89 countries right around the world. A total of 162,420 minutes of Livestream coverage were viewed.
“We are delighted with the reach of the broadcast,” says NRGTV director, Aiden Williams. “With 35,858 views here in Australia alone, it’s clear the live broadcasting is important to Supercross fans.
“The size of the audience is all the more impressive given we pulled the coverage together in just one week after Jimboomba promoter Scott Bannan gave us the go-ahead. We’re excited about what we can do moving forward.”
The Energy Logistix 2015 Australian Supercross Championship presented by Penrite Oils third round fires into life at Adelaide Showground on 31 October, where local South Australian hero Brett Metcalfe will be making a special homecoming from the USA to take on championship heavyweights Dan Reardon (CDR Yamaha) and Matt Moss (Motul Suzuki) in the premier SX1 class.
