Team Motul Suzuki’s young line-up of Kale Makeham and Egan Mastin are ready to contest the penultimate round of the 2015 MX Nationals this Sunday the 23rd of August at Toowoomba.

After a three week break from competition the series returns to a new look Echo Valley circuit for round nine of the ten round championship with Makeham looking to finish his first year in the MX1 class on a strong note.

Continuing to work hard both on and off the bike since the previous round held at Nowra, NSW, Makeham is looking forward to returning to Queensland for this weekends event.

“I am looking forward to returning to Toowoomba this weekend,” Makeham commented. “I have had some good results there in the past and it is a track that I enjoy which should play into my hands a bit.

“I have been putting in a big effort both on and off the bike leading into the final two rounds and looking forward to finishing off the season strong,” the 21 year old added.

For 17 year old Egan Mastin this weekend will mark his first MX Nationals round since wrapping up the 2014 MXD title at the series finale last year. After returning from the United States where he contested the 2015 American Amateur motocross Championships at Loretta Lynns, Mastin has spent his time getting to know his Team Motul Suzuki RM-Z450 and is looking forward to his first big race in the premier class of motocross racing in Australia.

“I have been riding quite a bit since I returned home and feel comfortable on the bike,” Mastin commented. “I have spent some time with the team getting everything dialled in and cant wait to work with the team this weekend. I am excited to get out there this Sunday and race, it should be a lot of fun. The plan is pretty much go out there and have some fun and see how I go.” Mastin concluded.
