Australians shine across multiple categories in US event.
Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker made it back-to-back title wins in the 2015 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Tricker won the Women All-Star division, taking home two consecutive national titles with 1-2-2 finishes on board the Rock River Yamaha entry. Fellow Australian Danielle Foot was third in the Women (14+) and sixth in the Girls Sr (12-16).
Reigning Australian MXD champion Egan Mastin’s hopes of a Pro Sport Open class podium was dashed with a DNF in the final moto, coming off second in the opening race and sixth in the second. Mastin crossed the line first in moto one, but was docked one position due to jumping on a red cross flag.
In the 450 A class Mastin fared better overall, claiming eighth overall with a pair of sixths during the opening motos, before a 19th in the final moto dropped him down the overall order.
Victorian Daniel Collins was 10th in the 450 C ranks with 11-15-11 finishes, young Anthony Adrian was 20th in the 51cc (4-6) Shaft Drive Limited after a consistent 21-19-20 showing, while Cody Chittick was 11th in the 65cc (10-11) Limited and 26th in 85cc (9-11) Limited.
