Team Motul Suzuki has confirmed Matt Moss won’t line up at this weekend’s fourth round of the 2015 MX Nationals, opting to extend his recovery period.

Moss continues to recover from his first-turn incident at Appin’s second round, but is also battling an unspecified illness that struck after his return to riding.

“Matt will unfortunately be sidelined again this weekend,” team manager Jay Foreman said. “While he is recovering well from the first corner crash at Appin, he still has not been able to return to riding due to an illness.

“Obviously he is disappointed he won’t be able to line up at Murray Bridge this Sunday and is looking at returning to riding as soon as possible.”

It’s now expected Moss will come back in a fortnight’s time at Coolum’s first stop of the season; round five on 31 May.
