Penrite Oil is in its second year of sponsoring the event, and according to General Manager Toby Dymond, the company is excited to be involved again. “We are proud to be associated with the Broadford Motorcycle Complex and the Bike Bonanza,” Dymond said. “The Complex is one of Australia’s longest standing facilities and is an iconic venue that homes circuits for all disciplines.

“There is no other venue like it and we need to work together to preserve it as well as the heritage of motorcycling.” The Penrite Broadford Bike Bonanza is heading into its seventh year, and this time around will celebrate 50 years of Bathurst (1938 – 1988). The event will showcase all motorcycle sport and will include a gala dinner on the Saturday night (4th of April).

11-time Australian Motocross and Supercross champion Glen Bell will again trek down from Queensland as a special guest of Penrite, and said he was thoroughly looking forward to a repeat of last year’s Bonanza. “I really enjoyed myself last year,” Bell said. “It’s a terrific gathering of past champions and any weekend spent riding is a good weekend.”

The Penrite Broadford Bike Bonanza promises to be a fun-filled event and there will be plenty to see and do. Restored bikes from the early 1930s to the late 1980s will be displayed and ridden, and past champions will also be on-hand to engage the respective crowds around all circuits.
