Defending GNCC champion retains number one plate.
KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell clinched the 2014 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series with victory at Mountain Ridge, PA, on Sunday.
Russell won the round ahead of Grant Baylor and Jordan Ashburn, enough to sew up the title with two rounds remaining due to his unassailable 106-point advantage in the standings.
Ashburn has climbed to second in the series, one point ahead of Australian Josh Strang, who was a non-finisher outside the points on the weekend.
