Stewart fails drug test at Seattle round of AMA Supercross.
Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s James Stewart has confirmed that he received notification from the FIM on 17 June 2014 that a WADA (World Anti-Doping Agnency) test administered on 12 April at the Seattle Supercross round indeed came back positive for a banned substance.
The medication in question is and has been prescribed to Stewart by his physician to treat a long-term condition, which at this stage is unknown to the media and general public.
Stewart, with the full support of Yoshimura Suzuki Racing, is willingly communicating with WADA and taking all appropriate steps to resolve this matter and plans to be at the starting gate at the Tennessee Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship round on 28th June.
