Rising stars invited to compete on the big stage in 125cc division.
The 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals is set to add even more excitement to its already action-packed series, with the addition of a 125cc Junior Two-Stroke Cup Class for 13-15 year-olds at round two in Appin NSW.
In previous years, we have seen a number of different support classes at selected rounds across the country, and this year will be no different.
Sticking to tradition, 2014 will see the addition of the brand new 125cc Junior Two-Stroke Cup for those aged 13-15 years at round two of the MX Nationals at Appin on 13 April.
With Yamaha opting to sponsor the new class they continue to show their support for junior racing by taking up the naming rights to 125cc Junior Two-Stroke Cup in 2014.
Support classes, such as the KTM Two-Stroke Cup that joined the series in 2013 (and will run again in 2014), have proven to be well received and welcomed by riders and fans alike.
Series promoter Kevin Williams has explained that by adding the 125cc Junior Two-Stroke Cup to round two, it will provide up-and-coming stars the opportunity to show their stuff to the team bosses and have a hit-out on the same track that will host the Junior Nationals in 2014.
The extra classes that are added to the MX Nationals from year to year have always been popular and attracted plenty of attention.
Each year support classes allow locals, up-and-coming juniors, and even the veterans the chance to get out there and experience a racetrack of Australian Championship quality.
For the 13-15 year olds, the 125cc Junior Two-Stroke class at Appin will allow them to step away from the sidelines and onto the racetrack for the first time.
What better opportunity to be riding the same track as our Australian Motocross Champions and brushing shoulders with the best in the business.
Entries are open for the 125cc Junior Two-Stroke Cup to all 125cc two-stroke machines for riders aged 13-15 years.
