Queenslander Todd Waters’ Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing team has confirmed he and teammate Tyla Rattray will enter a number of pre-season races in preparation for the 2014 MXGP season.

Waters will join Rattray in a host of European races next month, with two in Italy (Sardinia and Sicily), one in France (Valence) and the final outing in England (Hawkstone Park).

The races will make an important step for both Waters and Rattray, refining the brand new FC 450 that they’ll enter in this year’s title chase.

In addition, the team has announced it’s completed its website update for this season as it takes on the role of official factory Husqvarna team in GPs, available at www.ice1racing.fi.

The 2014 MXGP World Championship will commence at the Losail Circuit in Qatar on Saturday, 2 March.
