Sherco's Knight wins Polish SuperEnduro round
Blazusiak retains world championship lead with second overall.
Sherco’s David Knight won round two of the FIM Maxxis SuperEnduro World Championship in Poland on Sunday.
Knight secured the overall win in the Atlas Arena, winning final number one before fighting through the field for sixth in the reverse grid second final.
A second place finish in the third final clinched the round victory for Knight – his first of the 2013/2014 season.
Series leader KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak was runner-up to Knight in Poland, finishing fourth in final one, eighth in final two and winning final three.
Completing the podium for the second round of the season was Spanish Husaberg rider Dani Gibert, who won the second final of the evening.
Blazusiak maintains a 13-point lead over Knight in the championship following two rounds.
The SuperEnduro World Championship will resume in Brazil on 18 January.
