Choice Motorsports KTM’s Brenden Harrison will look to carry the momentum of winning the Queensland Supercross Championship into this weekend’s Australian championship final at Toowoomba in Queensland.
Harrison rode his 250 SX to two round wins from two in the state-level series over the past fortnight, now aiming to continue that form in ASX this Saturday.
“The series was unreal all round and the best fun I’ve had in a long time,” Harrison said. “The track was massively long with 12, one-minute laps which suited me well.
“In the final I got the holeshot and got a bit of a lead and probably made it boring to the spectators, but I was glad to bring it home. It’s good to learn what it feels like to win again and I really want to win in Toowoomba this weekend.
“I’m look forward to see how the race ends up, I’ve heard it’s going to be a big track so I’m super excited and I just hope the rain stays away.
“I haven’t felt the confidence to go 15 laps full out in the Australian Supercross Championship so far, but I’ve just been racing everything I can and each time I’m getting better and better.
“It’s coming together perfectly and I feel 85-90 percent so by the MX Nats come around next year I should be good to go.”
Harrison currently sits seventh in the SX-Lites standings after five of six rounds.
