Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen has confirmed he won’t compete in the 2013 Genova or Paris-Bercy supercross races due to personal reasons.
The German, who will step up to a 450 SX-F full time in 2014, was originally scheduled for multiple European appearances during the American off-season.
“I am sorry to my fans attending Paris-Bercy and Genova Supercross,” Roczen said. “It’s unfortunate that I have had to cancel at this last minute but, I look forward to the future of racing at both of these races.”
Genova is scheduled for 1 November, while Paris-Bercy will take place on 8-10 November.
After finishing third at the Monster Energy Cup earlier this month, Roczen’s next appearance will come at Anaheim 1’s opening round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season on 4 January.
