Australia's Brett Metcalfe clinched his second-straight Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals victory at Wild Rose MX park in Calgary.
Australia’s Brett Metcalfe clinched his second-straight Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals victory at Wild Rose MX park in Calgary.
The Team Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki rider again swept both MX1 motos for first overall, making it two from three wins to date.
Metcalfe was followed by Yamaha mounted AMA Motocross and Supercross regular Bobby Kiniry. Kiniry took the runner-up spot using consistent 3-2 moto finishes.
Rounding out the top three in the premier class was Canada native Jeremy Medaglia who finished up the day with a 2-4 moto scorecard.
Rounding out the top five in the MX1 class was Morgan Burger with 4-5 moto scores and Tyler Medaglia with 5-6 moto finishes.
Metcalfe’s Team Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki teammate Austin Politelli put together a dominant performance in the MX2 class.
Politelli, a regular AMA contender, put together a perfect 1-1 moto scorecard to take home the overall win.
Following Politelli to the finish in both motos was RTR Performance Honda’s Topher Ingalls with a strong 2-2 score.
Rounding out the top three in MX2 was Josh Clark. Clark took the final podium spot using consistent 4-4 moto scores.
Taking the final two top five positions was Brad Nauditt and Jared Allison using 3-6 and 6-5 finishes, respectively.
