The second stage of a widespread price reduction plan, introduced in 2011, is now in effect for Yamaha's genuine parts range.
Yamaha Motor Australia (YMA) has announced the second stage of a widespread price reduction for its range of Yamaha Genuine Parts.
Aimed at encouraging customers to buy locally, YMA has introduced the price reductions with the assistance of its Japanese factory.
The first stage of the parts price reduction was introduced in 2011 when YMA announced savings on targeted parts for its YZ and WR models. The second stage was made effective as of 8 April, 2013.
A detailed analysis has been conducted on remaining motorcycle parts prices and calculations made to reduce the gap against overseas competition and aftermarket retail pricing, where possible.
The strong Australian dollar is another contributing factor in Yamaha proceeding with the second stage of price reductions.
