Kawasaki Australia has confirmed increased support of riders throughout the country on the eve of the Monster Energy MX Nationals.

Kawasaki has announced a full list of supported riders racing in the MX1, MX2 and MXD classes, Women’s championship, Australian Off-Road Championship and at the junior level.

Kawasaki Australia managing director Ken Hashiba understands the importance of supporting racers in Australia.

“Kawasaki has supported racing throughout the world on both professional and a grass-roots level for many many years,” said Habisha. “We are passionate about racing. That is evident in the level of research and development that goes into our state of the art racing motorcycles.

“It is this level of commitment that has seen the KX and Ninja brands become synonymous with the top step of the podium. We are extremely pleased to support racers in Australia in 2013 and we’re confident that they will all achieve success and fulfill their goals.”

Spearheading the campaign are Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jay Marmont and Adam Monea who will ride the KX450F in the MX1 class along with Zero Seven Motorsports’ Cody Mackie.

Kade Mosig will partner Mackie as the team’s MX2 rider and will be a podium contender on the KX250F after a strong season on the Monster Energy Kawasaki in 2012.

Current Australian Junior Champion Jesse Dobson steps into the senior ranks aboard a KX250F in MXD where he’ll be joined by current Australian Women’s MX Champion Meghan Rutledge, who is fresh from another strong second place finish at the opening round of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship in the Netherlands.

Kawasaki will support junior standout Blake Colleton at state and national level as he looks to improve on his second place overall at the Australian Junior Nationals on his KX250F.

Australian Off-Road Championship contender, the KX250F-mounted Daniel Sanders, will also receive backing from Kawasaki as he continues to come on strong in the competitive discipline.

Rounding out Kawasaki’s support of off-road riders and teams is the popular Showtime FMX team who perform freestyle motocross at the biggest shows and events around the country on board KX450Fs.
