The event opened with a round of applause to remember Georges Jobé, the five-time world champion winner of the Mantova International in 1986.
Immediately after, the start of the races with the spectacular Airoh Cup who has seen Kevin Strijbos eliminate Max Nagl and then win in the final thanks to a slip of Rui Goncalves.
The victory of the morning was a great preview for the Belgian. In race one Strijbos took a definite departure leaving behind a spectacular crash involving Goncalves, Bobryshev and Xavier Boog.
Strijbos with Rockstar Energy Suzuki won ahead of teammate Desalle and Frenchman Gautier Paulin.
In race two was the Frenchman Boog with ICE1 Racing KTM team gaining the holeshot, followed Tanel Leok, Kevin Strijbos and Nagl.
On the third lap the strong Strijbos surpassing Leok and Boog and took the lead again, going to win in front of Leok, Bobryshev and Desalle.
The third and final race saw the favorite Nagl started in front of everyone for four laps, then a fall that involved Desalle.
At that point the official Suzuki could remain calm in second place, but still catch the victory surpassing Russian Martin Honda rider Evgeny Bobryshev, while Boog was third.
At the end for the second time, Strijbos claimed the Duke of Mantua title, from Bobryshev and Leok.
