KTM Australia has announced that they have signed on as the official naming rights sponsor for the 2013 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX).
The AJMX is the pinnacle event of the annual junior motocross calendar and has long served as the early stomping ground of many of Australia’s brightest motocross stars.
The event attracts hundreds of junior riders and their families from around the country for an intense week of motocross action, with the full range of junior age groups and classes represented on track.
In 2013, the iconic event will spring to life in the Victorian town of Horsham from 28 September to 5 October and will be delivered by the committed crew at the Horsham Motorcycle Club.
Jeff Leisk, general manager of KTM Australia, is thrilled to be joining forces with the Australian Junior Motocross Championship in 2013.
“The Australian Junior Motocross Championship is a defining event for up and coming young riders, and KTM is excited to be able to get behind the title and the next generation of motocross athletes,” Leisk said. “This new partnership marks a new era for the Championship, and we are looking forward to working with everyone involved to bring the event to a new level of competition.”
“We are excited to be working with Motorcycling Australia and the Horsham Motorcycle Club to deliver this year’s event, and can’t wait to welcome riders to the 2013 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship.”
