Serco Yamaha’s newest edition to the team, Luke Clout, is planning to make the most of his new ride as he prepares for his full season as a professional in Australia.

After spending a majority of his recent years in the US, sharpening his skills at the Millsaps Training Facility, 2013 will serve as Clout’s rookie season in the Monster Energy MX Nationals MX2 class.

The 18-year-old showed great form at last year’s Moree event, sweeping the Under 19s class, before taking a fill-in ride with Serco for the 2012 Terex Australian Supercross Championships where he showed flashes of brilliance.

Clout says he is determined to make the most of his time with the established team, and believes he has all the tools available to achieve success.

“It’s every racer’s goal to get on a factory team and to be on a team as successful as Serco Yamaha is unreal. Their bikes are awesome and the support around us riders is the best,” said Clout. “I know I have the best bikes and people around me and I’m determined to make the most of this opportunity with them.”

Clout will be riding alongside Luke Styke in the MX2 class for both the Monster Energy MX Nationals and Australian Supercross Championships in 2013.
