MIT+ (Multiple Inclusion Technology Plus) quad composite shell construction:
The all new X4 is hand crafted using a totally new shell manufacturing process, representing the absolute latest in helmet design and technology. Totally unique to our M2R factory.

MIT+ quad composite shell manufacture and robotic cutting:
The resin used in the creation of the X4 is a secret epoxy blend to provide a higher performance. All excess resin is removed from the fibres, leaving the exact amount to enable creation of the lightweight and strong shell. The formed shell is finished using robotic cutters to guarantee exact positioning of eye ports and ventilation channels.

The result of this new process is an ergonomic, aerodynamic shell shape that competitors cannot replicate using older style helmet manufacture techniques. The weighting of the new X4 is exceptional – an exact combination of lightweight fibres ensures a well balanced feel to the helmet which is paramount to minimise all-day-long rider fatigue. Our race testers love it!

Four piece, dual density, impact absorbing EPS liner:
The crown liner of the X4 is created using two interlocking EPS foam pieces; a soft inner and a firm outer piece to provide exceptional progressive impact absorption and energy dispersion. Then 2 separate EPS plates are applied behind the cheek-pads to provide additional face, cheek and jaw protection.

Multi-channel vortex ventilation system:
Channels between the 2 EPS layers creates true through-the-shell ventilation – 3 inlet ports feed cool air into this Vortex, while 9 internal exhaust ports within the crown actively draw away warm air and moisture out through multiple channels that feed into the 4 rear exhaust vents.

Emergency Safety Removable System:
To deploy the re-usable Emergency Safety Removable System, pull the red tabs in the chin section to easily and safely remove the cheek pads prior to removing the helmet. This ensures head movement and neck load is minimised in an emergency.

Premium 3D ergonomic interior:
The 3 Dimensionally shaped Interior Comfort Liner is formed to provide a firm head seal with maximum comfort. Each material has unique sweat wicking properties which are placed over 3-dimensional memory foam to ensure you always remain cool and focused… even in the hottest riding conditions. The crown and cheek pad sections can all be quickly removed for cleaning, and refitting is a breeze with the addition of M2R speed clips.

We know how important helmet comfort is for concentration, so while the 3D Ergonomic liner is perfect for 99% of X4 customers, we also have available a full range of crown liner & cheek pad thickness so you can perfectly tailor your X4 to maximise comfort & hold. You can easily purchase an additional liner to keep your helmet fresh on race day!

Crossfire chin vent:
Quick fire cleaning of the mesh chin vent screen to maximise fresh air flow – remove 1 screw and regularly rinse the filter. Multiple chin vent colours available to fully customise your X4!

Adjustable safety shear peak:
The aerodynamic peak on the X4 is fully adjustable and is attached with transparent plastic screws designed to shear away in an impact for increased protection. Your X4 comes supplied with additional peak screws if needed. Replacement peaks also available.
