With the 2012 Terex Australian Supercross Championships season finale just days away, CDR Yamaha’s Craig Dack heads into Newcastle with a championship on the line in the SX Open class.
After a messy Toowoomba round just last weekend, the CDR Yamaha team faceed a quick turnaround to get the race bikes back in shape and ready for the fourth round of this short series.
Dack admits it was a tough task for both the team and riders in Toowoomba, but believes he has a dedicated team and crew which will be laying down their best performance of the year for the finale.
“No question last night was tough for both the riders and the teams,” said Dack. “The track was extremely difficult to ride while the team now has the big job of cleaning up the mess and getting everything back into top shape in just four days.
“But we have a dedicated crew here at CDR and I’m confident we will save the best for last and have a big performance in Newcastle.”
CDR Yamaha’s Dan McCoy currently sits just seven points behind series leader Jay Marmont in the SX Open class, while teammate Lawson Bopping holds down fifth overall.
