BCP Fox Honda rider Geran Stapleton has fractured his right radius (forearm) bone today in a practice crash while training for Toowoomba’s penultimate round of the Terex Australian Supercross Championships.
Specialists at Frankston hospital have decided against surgery, but it will still be a six-week healing time forcing Geran out of his championship bid where he currently sits second in the Lites.
Stapleton has been a standout during this year’s SX series, scoring sixth on debut at Dubbo before stunning with a determined second in the main event at Phillip Island two weeks ago.
Stay tuned for further updates when we have them available.
