Raceline Pirelli Suzuki’s Errol Willis will be aiming to finish up his rookie MX2 campaign on a good note this weekend at the 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals season finale in Coolum.

The 2011 Under 19s national champion has seen an up and down season so far, but finding his feet in the deep field of talent looks to be coming around just in time for a strong finale effort.

Willis scored himself a solid fifth overall at the series’ penultimate round in Moree last weekend, cementing himself as a series contender in years to come.

“It was a good day for myself and Raceline Pirelli Suzuki,” Willis reflected. “I really enjoyed the bike and the track today.

“I’m looking forward to Coolum now and am hoping that we can do more of the same. It would be nice to finish off the season on a good note.”

Currently holding down 10th place overall in the MX2 standings, expect Willis will put his best foot forward in a bid to jump up the ladder before the championship is done and dusted.

The 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals season finale will be held over two days throughout this weekend on 25-26 August.
