Full Force CarsRus Racing have announced that they will be bringing on Keiron Hall to contend in the MX2 class for the remainder of the 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals series.
Hall suffered a broken scaphoid bone at the Campbelltown Super X round in 2011, the injury forced a five month break from the bike and Hall was never picked up for a 2012 team ride.
The New South Wales native has been working six days a week as an Earthmover, fitting in training after work and riding with friends in his spare time.
“Last year I didn’t do too bad at Appin, I got a couple of good finishes,” said Hall. “I’ve been riding with a couple of mates from Wollongong which has been really fun.”
Hall has had strong recent showings at both the New South Wales state titles and the East Coast MX series, managing to steal away a win from the current MX2 series leader Luke Styke was a highlight for Hall.
“It feels good to be back, I’m a bit nervous,” he added. “I have had two races back, the state titles and the East Coast series where I won them both. I have been riding pretty good, I beat Styke at the East Coast Series.
“The goal is to always win, but I would be happy to start off with a top 10 for the first series race back.”
Hall will return to the national seen this weekend as the Monster Energy MX Nationals series heads into round eight of action at Appin in New South Wales.
