After announcing his plans to retire from professional competition at the end of the 2012 season, Dan Reardon says he is hoping to finish his final season on a strong note.
Suffering a sub-par 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals season to date, the former Australian motocross champion plans to enjoy the remaining races and have a little bit of fun.
Feeling like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders, the Queenslander will be heading into the final rounds of the season with a positive attitude.
“My biggest goal now is to finish on a strong note and I’m really looking forward to supercross as well, to do the same there,” said Reardon.
“I just need to be positive about it and like I said the weight has been lifted off my shoulders, so I can have a little bit of fun and try to enjoy these next few rounds.”
Reardon not only looks to put in a strong showing outdoors, but also looks towards the upcoming Australian Supercross Championship where he will contend in all four rounds for the JDR Motorsports team.
