Fresh from a career-first MX2 overall victory last time out at Murray Bridge in May, JDR/KTM Factory Racing rider Josh Cachia will head into Hervey Bay’s round six of the Monster Energy MX Nationals this weekend looking to maintain his winning form.

Currently ranked fifth in the series to date, Cachia is certain that his win in South Australia will provide the ultimate boost that he’s been looking for in a bid to consistently race for victory.

Now knowing he can win, the lone factory KTM MX2 rider will be a force to be reckoned with, as speed and confidence combined have always proven a recipe for success.

“I think I’ve always got confidence coming into a race, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out the way I want it to,” Cachia explained.

“Now I know I can win and there’s no excuse for me to not keep on doing so. I’m really looking forward to trying to back that up this weekend.”

Cachia currently sits tied for third on 258 points with DPH Motorsport’s Cheyne Boyd in the championship standings at the halfway point.
