Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing’s Ford Dale currently sits just 12-points behind MX2 class leader Luke Styke, and knows consistent results are needed to get the job done and taking home that Monster Energy MX Nationals title.

Even though Dale took home the overall win at round three in Wonthaggi, the Queensland native knows it will take hard work and consistent results to claw his way into the lead, as the in-form Styke tries to run away with the title.

Heading into this weekend’s round four of racing at Wanneroo in Western Australia, Dale has upped his fitness training in preparation for the demanding sand conditions.

“With Perth being a sandy track I have worked harder on my fitness coming into this event. Riding these sort of tracks can take a bit more out of you than a hard packed track,” Dale explained.

“So far everything is going really well, I feel good on the bike and I am fit and healthy.

“I am still 12-points off the lead so I need another consistent round to keep moving forward and make-up these points.”

Expect to see Dale riding strong this weekend as he battles for the championship lead in Wanneroo, WA.
