Yamaha Motor Australia will use the 2012 WR450F as the official naming rights sponsor for the 2012 Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE).
The 2012 Yamaha WR450F A4DE will run in the small Victorian town of Buln Buln, located near Warragul from 24-27 October.
Chair of the 2012 Yamaha WR450F A4DE Committee and president of the Victorian Off-Road Committee Chris Gray is thrilled to have Yamaha on board.
“Yamaha has been a valued supporter of the Victorian and Australian Off-Road Championships, and the Four-Day Enduro, for many years,” Gray said.
“It is fantastic to have their support for this great event, and we look forward to working with them over the coming months to deliver what looks set to be one of the biggest A4DE’s in recent history.”
Having successfully hosted the A4DE in 2008, the Warragul region is no stranger to the task ahead, and organisers and volunteers will draw on their experience to deliver another four-day spectacular for the Enduro community.
“There is a lot of buzz around the clubs who are involved, with everyone keen to show how well Victoria can deliver Australia’s biggest Enduro event,” Gray said.
“Preparations are well underway and things are really starting to take shape. The Track Subcommittee has already worked out loops of over 400 kilometres of trails – so this will be a really good trail riders four-day.”
Now in its 34th year, the iconic A4DE is the second largest Motorcycle Enduro race on the planet and will attract more than 350 riders with its challenging four-day program of unique trails and special tests.
A star line-up will lead the strong rider contingent to Buln Buln, headed by reigning Outright Champion Toby Price and a long list of elite performers including Stefan Merriman, Jemma Wilson, Jarrod Bewley, Mitcham Harper, Daniel Milner, Chris Hollis, Josh Green, Luka Bussa, Matt Phillips, Jess Gardiner and AJ Roberts.
