Australian Glenn Kearney has raced to a podium in his return to the Grand National Cross Country Championship in Florida this morning.
Kearney was an 11th-hour replacement for the FAR Husqvarna team in the XC2 class, finishing third at the Westgate River Ranch GNCC opener.
Just days after he finished on the podium at the first round of the Australian Off Road Championship in Dungog, NSW, Kearney jetted to the U.S. and earned third in the XC2 class.
The former GNCC regular also earned seventh overall amongst the XC1 runners, which was won by Yamaha rider Paul Whibley.
Kearney will stay for The General GNCC round in Georgia on 17-18 March, before flying back to Australia for round three and four of the AORC series at Wonthaggi, VIC, on 31 March-1 April.
