Reigning WA State Motocross Champion Michael Addison will remain onboard Honda machinery for the 2012 race season where he will defend his Western Australian crown.
For the second year running Addison will ride for the BCP Honda Fox Racing Team where his role as WA head coach for the renowned Building Champions Program will continue.
“It’s great to have Addo back on board again,” said Lee Hogan, director of the BCP Program. “He is a real asset to our company and Western Australia is a huge market for us.
“It’s a great fit for everyone involved and gives Michael the structure to be able to race and coach without too much to organise.”
Addison’s 2012 schedule will consist of racing the WA State Motocross Championships, selected rounds of the MX Nationals and one off major events nationally while also conducting WA based BCP clinics throughout the state.
“We had a very successful year last year in our first effort with the team winning the WA State MX Champs and finishing top 5 in two rounds of the Nationals,” said Addison.
“The Honda bikes are great, I’ve been with Fox clothing for many years now and also worked closely with Hoges, firstly as my coach and more recently running schools together.
“I’m wrapped we can keep the ball rolling for 2012 and hopefully win some more championships for the team.”
Alongside Honda, BCP and Fox, Addison will be supported by Fuchs Silkolene Oils, Pirelli Tyres, Oakley Goggles, Nine Two Decals and Axis Motorsports. Local WA company Berry Sweet will once again support Addison’s efforts in 2012.
