Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen has come away from St. Louis with a season-best second place finish, gaining confidence as the series heads to Daytona.

The young German rider kept his East Coast Lites championship chances alive with this strong showing, while gaining his second podium finish of the season.

“I struggled the whole week with a cold and I felt like I was riding tight but I still managed to get my best finish of the season and I’m really happy for that,” said Roczen.

“I’m really looking forward to next weekend in Daytona when my dad, sister and little niece all come over to join me at the race.”

Meanwhile, former MX2 World Champion Marvin Musquin made a solid debut in the Supercross Class at St. Louis, taking ninth place on a 350 SX-F.

“The 350 is an amazing bike,” said Musquin. “I feel very comfortable on the bike and am so happy I was able to get a top 10 finish.

“I will race the next two races in the Supercross Class and hope to improve my results.”

Roczen will resume his fight for the title at the Daytona Supercross, where Musquin will have his second ride in the premier class.
