Series promoter Williams Event Management has confirmed a Mini Cup for 85cc two-stroke and 150cc four-stroke big-wheel machines, as well as a Rookie Lites class for 13-U16 100-150cc two-stroke and 250cc four-stroke models.
Both Junior classes will be contested at Wonthaggi in Victoria on 28-29 April, before the Rookie Lites class will also be contested at Wanneroo in Western Australia on 12-13 May. All are standalone events.
“The success of the Under 19s class has been amazing,” WEM boss Kevin Williams explained.
“This year all manufactures have teams supporting under 19s, so we wanted to give the youngsters and their families a chance to see how the series runs and more importunely give them some exposure to the team managers and industry personnel.”
Visit the official series website at www.mxnationals.com.au and click on the Competitors tab for information on how to enter. The first 40 riders for each category will be accepted.
This year’s MX Nationals series will officially commence at Conondale in Queensland on 1 April.
