Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki’s Josh Hansen is satisfied with his 10th place finish at Anaheim 1’s opening round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series.
The 2010 Australian Super X Champion has returned to the 450 class for this year in the U.S, and immediately displayed his potential with a top 10 result on debut.
“We came out with a top 10,” Hansen reflected. “We started out the race dead last – there wasn’t one dude behind me. It could of helped to start up front, but I’m lucky to have a great crew working for me.
“I got my Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki working well. We made some adjustments after practice and that helped.
“To run top 10 to start off the season is cool. It’s a solid start to the season. I’m pumped and ready to go to Phoenix next weekend.”
Hansen was top Hart and Huntington team finisher, with teammate Ivan Tedesco finishing 13th after crashing on lap 17 of 20.
Kyle Partridge failed to make the main event, as did Josh Hill, who was re-injured in his return to racing after a lengthy period on the sidelines.
