VonZipper has been making a huge push in the Australian moto marketplace since linking up with Lusty Industries this year, signing top-level riders including Ryan Marmont and Dan Reardon to the team.

With a selection of sweet colour combos that are super affordable, it won’t be long until we really begin to see the brand on a regular basis throughout the country’s practice tracks.

MotoOnline.com.au recently took delivery of a heap of VZs thanks to our good friends at Lustys, with our favourites definitely being the Porkchop MX Goggle in the Mondrian colourway.

The Porkchop is made up of thermo-polyurethane for flexibility under all conditions. It features 100 percent UV protection as part of its anti-fog coated cylindrical lens.

What else you’ll like about the VonZipper Porkchop MX Goggle is that it has a detachable roost guard, plus extended outriggers with an integrated third tear-off pin. Combined, you’ll enjoy the wide peripheral vision the goggles offer.

Upon initially wearing the goggles, they did take time to adapt to as you’d expect (most of us are so picky about the goggle fit!). They aren’t overly wide on your face, meaning they’d fit into most helmets with ease, but I did find I had to play around with them a bit to get them to sit in the correct position on my face.

Once that was sorted, pretty much by making sure I really focus on where they are placed when pulling them over my helmet, I’ve never had a problem at all with the goggle. Roost protection is first class, no sign of dust has been getting through the ventilation, and they’re holding up well despite countless roosts!

What we definitely like most about the brand is the styling, which is capped off by the selection of colours you can choose from. Bright, flashy and packed with quality, the goggles suit what most rising motocrossers are looking for in their attire these days.

You’ll be able to pick yourself up a set of VZ Porkchop MX Goggles for $99.95 in Australian stores, plus they come with a neat cloth-type goggle cover for transportation.

Accessories also available include replacement lenses, starting at $14.95, plus tear-offs are available in standard replacement packs of 10 and 20 for $14.95 and $29.95 respectively.

Also available are the laminated tear-offs in packs of 14 and 28. These are broken down into bundles of 7 for ease of fitment and optimal use, and retail for $20.95 and $41.95.

If you travel a lot and want a more durable goggle case, there’s a moulded case available for $49.95 and holds a minimum of two frames, as well as plenty of lenses and tear-offs for travelling purposes.
