Australia’s Chad Reed will contest the Genova Superbowl in Italy on 19 November, shaping up as one of the main European supercross races this year.
Reed has been confirmed on the entry list riding a TwoTwo Motorsports Honda, which comes as the first real indication that he’ll again ride a CRF450R in 2012.
As the only 450 Class regular from the AMA entered, Reed will enter the Italian race as the favourite, however he’ll be joined by fellow Honda rider Justin Barcia in the event.
Apart from Reed and Barcia, the series features a host of European-based riders, although the top Motocross World Championship riders won’t contest the event.

This weekend will see the Bercy Supercross race contested in France, with Barcia also confirmed for the event in Paris alongside GEICO Powersports Honda teammate Eli Tomac.
