Red Bull Teka KTM’s Ken Roczen will contest this weekend’s final round of the FIM Motocross World Championship riding a two-stroke 125 SX after clinching the MX2 title with a round to spare.
Roczen and teammate Antonio Cairoli were scheduled to contest the round on two-strokes, however MX1 World Champion Cairoli will now skip the round following the passing of his mother this week.
Claudio De Carli, Antonio’s long time manager and the Red Bull Teka KTM MX1 team boss is in now Sicily to support him, and out of respect, both De Carli and KTM management have allowed Cairoli to sit out the final round.
