MotoOnline.com.au’s Alex Gobert today tested the factory Rockstar Makita Suzuki of Australian Brett Metcalfe at Milestone in California.

Gobert joined Metcalfe and the team while the Southwick winner of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship completed final testing ahead of this weekend’s season finale.

Once Metcalfe completed testing, Gobert was handed the reigns of the RM-Z450, fully equipped with a factory engine and Showa suspension.

“It was a pretty amazing opportunity and one that I won’t forget anytime soon,” Gobert said. “We really need to thank Metty and the team for helping it go ahead.”
