Raceline Pirelli Suzuki have expressed their delight with team rider Errol Willis, after he was able to wrap up the Under 19’s Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals title on the weekend with a round to spare.

Willis rode to a perfect 1-1-1-1 moto scorecard to take the overall win on the day and seal the championship, which will now allow him to run the coveted number one plate on his RM-Z250 this weekend at Coolum.

“We’re over the moon with Errol’s performance today. It has been just over 12 months since we signed Errol onto the team and he has really grabbed hold of the opportunity and made the most of it,” commented team manager Chris Woods.

“Qualifying fastest and winning all four motos meant that he has sealed the championship win early and showed just how dominant RM-Z motocrossers can be.”

Team owner John Tisdale echoed Woods’ praise.

“We are simply delighted with Errol’s result,” said Tisdale. “He has, since joining us last year, improved enormously as a result of dedication and hard work.”

“There is no question in my mind he is a rider of the future and this is just a small but significant beginning. Clearly, his move to Suzuki was good for both Suzuki and Errol, as it has proved to be a significant one.”

With the title now safely under wraps, Willis and the Raceline squad will go to Coolum with the number one plate and look to cap off their great season with another strong result.
