Serco Yoshimura Yamaha rider Jake Moss has said his aim for the rest of the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals series will be purely directed toward scoring race wins.
After missing the opening round due to injury, Moss realises that it will be tough to get into the Pro Lites points race, preferring to now concentrate on taking things race by race and looking for moto victories to cap off his season.
“The championship is gone due to injury so all I can do is just wins races and rounds and see how far up the points table I can get,” Moss commented.
After scoring his first podium of the year with a second at Murray Bridge, Moss will be carrying confidence into round five at Echo Valley and definitely be a top contender for a win this weekend.
“Toowoomba is a fun track and I came to Queensland a few days earlier to prepare, so I’m good to go.”
Moss scored his first podium of the season at Murray Bridge last time out, finishing second overall behind teammate Kirk Gibbs in what was the fourth round of the season.
