Jake Moss put in a number of laps at Appin's club circuit today ahead of Sunday's second MX Nationals round.

Serco Yoshimura Yamaha’s Jake Moss has used a public practice day on Appin’s club circuit to put forward his final preparations ahead of tomorrow’s second round of the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals.

Sunday will mark the Australian Motocross Championship’s return to Sydney at the ever-popular Macurthur complex, with Moss putting in laps alongside a host of the club’s members today.

This weekend marks Moss’ debut return to the series for the first time since 2007, when he was able to win the title with Serco Yamaha.

Moss completed a number of sessions on the former national circuit throughout the day aboard his YZ250F practice bike, finalising his settings ahead of tomorrow’s four motos on the all-new Bellbird Circuit.

Jake’s twin brother Matt Moss (JDR Motorex KTM) enters the Pro Lites round as the title leader following an opening round victory at Broadford last month.
